Hello everyone.
My name is Mandy, i'm 29 years old and living in London. I work hard and unfortunately, also play (interpret as eat) hard which means i'm always on a diet of some sort.
This blog is going to record my efforts to begin to eat normally and to regain control of that aspect of my life. I want to cut through the rubbish and lies surrounding the diet industry and show that there really aren't any quick fixes but what really works.
I'll also be reviewing recipe books, creams, fitness bits and pieces etc that can help us along the way.
Starting at my highest weight of over 19 stone in August, i'm aiming to be a healthy weight by the age of 30 in May. Wish me luck!
Just thought i'd add the weigh in results below for a quick to access view:
31 October: 120.3kg/18 stone 9/261lbs
6 November: 119kg/18 stone 7/ 259lbs
15 November: 119.2kg/18 stone 8/260lbs
29 November:118.9kg/18 stone 7/ 259lbs
11 January: 117kg/18 stone 4/256lbs
13 July 2012: 120.6kg/19 stone/266lbs
UPDATE: After a dire few months and giving up I'm back up to 266lbs as of 13th July 2012.
I missed the goal of hitting my 30th in a slim and sexy state. But this time, i'm not giving myself a time limit. My aim is to be healthy and happy and full of energy. I know i've got a great slim person underneath all this fat, it's just going to take a while to chip it away.
